Here at Kanye Roscoe, our love of pizza is matched only by our love of puppies, and now that brighter days are upon us, it’s time for another season of Pups on the Patio! Starting one week from today, every Tuesday night, we will take over one of our patios with rescue dogs available for adoption, pizza and booze deals, and opportunities to support fellow DFW area rescue groups. Whether you are in the market to adopt or foster a pup, or you just want to hang out on our patio with your own canine BFF, you should make some plans to join us for a night! You could do a lot worse than spending your Tuesday evening cuddling with cute dogs and eating a Delia or twelve!
The first event will be at White Rock next Tuesday, 4/7!

Agility - XDog FUNgility Drop In @ Dog Quest Lewisville Apr 28, 2015 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Tue

Have you done any of our XDog FUNgility classes before and want to come out and play or practice?

This is a one-time drop-in class where you attend as your schedule allows.

The price for this drop-in class is $25, and must be prepaid. The class duration is 60 minutes.

Conformation - Drop In @ Dog Quest Lewisville Apr 27, 2015 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM

The Conformation - Drop In class is $25 per class, and must be prepaid. Each class is 60 minutes. The drop-in class will be limited to 10 clients, however, clients may bring a maximum of 3 dogs each.

We will work on stacking, moving, table manners, and getting your dogs rock solid in the ring so you will walk out in the ribbons!

Open to dogs of all ages.

Prerequisite: Puppies must have completed Puppy Conformation/Kinder Conformation or similar to be eligible for Conformation - Drop In classes.  Please contact us at 972-436-3400 if you have any questions.

Puppy Conformation/Kinder Conformation @ Dog Quest Lewisville Apr 27, 2015 - May 18, 2015 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Mon

Bring out your puppies for Kinder Class!

In this four-week session pups will be introduced to show stacking on the table and on the ground. We will work on correct movement and patterns in preparation for the show ring. At the end of class there will be a brief, supervised,  puppy socialization session (10-15 minutes).

Open to puppies aged 3 months to 1 year.  The cost of this class is $100 for 4 consecutive classes, once a week, and must be prepaid. Each class is 55 minutes.

Barn Hunt Practice - Crazy 8s @ Dog Quest Lewisville Apr 24, 2015 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Fri

We will practice this new Barn Hunt game before you have a chance to run it at the April trial. Complete rules can be found at www.barnhunt.com or on the Barn Hunt Association Facebook page.

Crazy 8s will have 8 live rat tubes and 4 litter tubes on a Senior/Master sized course. Points are acquired until all rats are found, tunnel and climb are completed, or until Time is called. A Clean Race is 100 points (all rats plus climb and tunnel) in two minutes or less. If the team finishes with a Clean Race and is also under time by 15 or more seconds (rounded down to the nearest second), a bonus of 5 points is awarded, and the judge will call BONUS. If the team finishes with a Clean Race and under time by 30 or more seconds, a second bonus of 5 points is awarded and the judge will call SUPER BONUS. No more than 10 total bonus points are awarded. Total possible points per run are 110.

This class gives you a chance to work your tunneling skills - we will deconstruct and practice the more complex tunnels.

This class will help build enthusiasm or rebuild drive by providing lots of opportunities for reward as the dog finds multiple rats on course.
