This 8-week intro class is both for
handlers and dogs that wish to get started in the fun sport of agility
and for experienced handlers that are just getting started with a new
dog. This class is both for students that wish to compete in the future
as well as those that just want to spend time with their dog and do not
wish to compete.
Dog/handler teams learn how to
work off leash in a class setting, practice free shaping with objects,
and work on other skills that enhance the handler/team relationship
needed to safely participate in agility. Dogs are also introduced to
beginner agility obstacles such as planks, wobble boards, and jumps.
This class is not suitable for reactive/aggressive dogs.
