Come
join us for a leisurely walk along the beautiful Trinity Trail. All
walkers are welcome, with or without a dog! You get to pick how far to
walk based on athletic desire. Limited mobility or have a senior dog?
Sign up for the 1K. Like a bit more distance or looking for a workout
for you and/or your dog(s)? Sign up for the 3K or 5K. We will have
volunteers and water stations along the routes. At the end of the walk,
stick around to win in a drawing for great prizes!* All proceeds from this event go to H4-Hounds Helping Heroes Heal veteran service dog program and Greyhound Adoption League of Texas, a 501(c)3 non-profit who has been helping find homes for retired racing greyhounds.

Event Hours:
Registration Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m. (walking maps will be provided)
5 Mile Walk Starts: 9:05 a.m.
3 Mile Walk Starts: 9:45 a.m.
1 Mile Walk Starts:10:25 a.m.
*Everyone should be done walking by 10:45 a.m.
Lunch (Chuy’s) and raffle starts: 11:00 a.m. (optional participation)
Where:
Trinity Park: 2401 W 7th & Stayton St. Fort Worth, TX
(Stretched along the banks of the Trinity River, Trinity Park is home to a duck pond, a miniature train, several playgrounds and Trinity Trails.) There are 2 parking lots at the park and space could be limited if we have a large response. We recommend ride sharing with friends. There will be signs and balloons to guide you once there.

Junior Walker 1K, 3K, 5K (7-16 yrs. old) $10.00
Junior Walker 1K, 3K, 5K (Under 7 yrs. old) (Free)
Raffle:
This is a “fun” event and will have many raffle items. All registered participants receive one free entry into a raffle. Additional raffle tickets will be available for sale at the event. Must be present to win.
The Rules:
All walkers must read and sign the waiver at check-in.
All dogs must have a current rabies vaccination and be licensed.
No more that (2) pets per individual walker or per family please.
Children under 12 years may not handle family dog during the walk.
For safety reasons, well-behaved social/friendly dogs only. Unruly or aggressive dogs will be asked to leave.
Dog(s) must be leashed (6′ maximum leash length) and kept under control at all times. No retractable leashes permitted.
Participants are expected to practice responsible pet ownership at all times during the event and clean up after your animal(s).
Female dogs in season may not participate.
